I do a ton of work with JSON APIs each day. Two things would make this application absolutely indispensible: JSON diffing and a history dropdown of recent URLs in the address field. Overall, thanks for this tool!

They could have implemented the HTTP return code for the requisiten, that would be great! I would gladly pay for this app!
I use this a few times a day, and it will crash fairly frequently on 10.8 (~2x per day). Its really basic. Whenever I need to do something the least bit complicated, I use a different app. This one I only use to get a JSON tree from GET requests, as otherwise its pretty useless. Saving a history would be great, as would support for other types of requests, like PUT and DELETE. Setting Header values is also important. Its okay at doing one thing, and one thing only. Could be much better.
5 stars all the day long!
Crashes every time I try to run it. Does it support mountain lion?
very nice app, but latest version crashes every time
The http support is nice.
Good stuff - a clean, simple app that does what it says. Nice work!
Works perfect. Havent tried any of the http stuff - but for copying and pasting a JSON string and being able to read it quickly - this app is great!
Simple and effective. Thank you.
As for me is a great app for work with json.
Very easy to use, does exactly what you would expect. Thanks
i love this app great for making my websites apps and more but theres just one thing i dont like the layout
Makes viewing JSON files (both local and via HTTP) easy with its tree view. Use it all of the time for app development.
I have been having issues with fiddler and this let me do posts for testing with my app without having to resolve my proxy settings in fiddler. Very fast and easy to use.
That’s all what you need
It shows the JSON but that’s all it does. You cannot open a file using the menu (but you can type in the location in the address bar by forming the local file URI). You cannot search or edit or save. Really, all this is doing is creating a tree view of a JSON file.
Works, would like to have the ability to have multiple tabs open, and a Diff tool or integration to one. Regardless works great :)
thanks, it’s good for debug web interface,
Seems fine for fetching remote JSON from an API. I can’t drag a local JSON file into the app: “The document “file.json” could not be opened. VisualJSON cannot open files in the “JSON” format."
